Seaburn Holiday Site 23rd May - 1st June 2008
The
site is ideally situated on the main A 183 coast road between Sunderland and
South Shields. The camping field overlooks the sea and beaches therefore making
this site ideal for all ages. Travelling north along the sea front after the
mini roundabout at Morrison's
Superstore the site is immediately on the left.
Seaburn and Roker are Durham’s premier resorts. Safe sandy beaches, leisure complex and amusements. Superstore and beaches are all within 100 yards. Own Sanitation is essential.
Sunderland City Centre 2 miles.
National Glass Centre 1 mile.
Souter Point Lighthouse ( National Trust) 2 miles.
South
Shields and river Tyne 5 miles.
Durham City and Castle 14 miles.
Beamish Open Air Museum 13 miles.
Slightly further afield within 1 hours drive you can visit Weardale and Teesdale
an area of natural outstanding beauty.
Stanhope with its Dales Centre.
Barnard Castle a lovely old market town on the banks of the river Tees.
