About Us

Teesside DA was formed in 1955, the two DA's. then formed the North East Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club. Northumberland and Durham DA continued as one unit until the late 1960's. It was decided to create two separate DA's, one for Northumberland and the other for Durham. Durham District Association  (D.D.A.) was formed in 1968. The old Northumberland and Durham DA was renamed Northumbrian DA in 1969.

Durham D.A. is organised by club members for club members. Our main aim is to provide the facility for safe affordable camping for all members throughout the season.

A full programme of weekend meets is offered from March to November. (See Sites for 2007)
